New colorful residents
For 2 years now, we have two new colorful residents. Indeed, our macaws have joined the animation “Around the world in 80 birds”.
We worked for 2 years with them before they joined the show. Tagging a macaw is not the same as tagging a raptor, a wading bird or nocturnals.
Macaws are birds that need attention and patience. For the little anecdote, they are very susceptible.
The knowledge of his birds has been more than enriching. We have accustomed them to a positive « education », as for children! We explain everything: when they did the wrong thing (like pinching a healer to claim something), we ignored them. Being endowed with great sensitivity, they get offended very easily, especially when we do not pay enough attention to them. On the other hand, when they did a superb job, they had a double ration of peanuts and butterflies! In this way, they understand what is right to do, and what is not.
We invite you to come and admire their colorful flights in front of the facade of the castle. It’s a real aerial ballet.
