Nature, with its protected species

La Bourbansais Zoo is involved in protecting endangered species, such as these gelada baboons from the mountainous regions of Ethiopia (new for 2005). Come and admire these animals and over 60 other rare and unusual species in a natual, wooded and flower-filled setting.

Several daily shows, afternoon feeding time in the presence of our biologists, areas for meeting domestic species, educational signs throughout the zoo area : at La Bourbansais you'll learn while having fun !
Loyal Pack...

This beautiful pack of French hounds boasts more than fifty dogs. They display impeccable but go wild with excitement when chasing the quarry !
Traditions, through live demonstrations

Majestic birds of prey... Under the watchful eye of the master falconer, these magnificient birds soar the sky before diving to attack lures. These demonstrations reflect nature and are unique in France !
History, through stones and gardens

Built on Gallo-roman remains in the late 16th century, the Château de La Bourbansais and its French-style gardens inspired by the French landscape designer Le Nôtre have been heritage-listed since 1959. They boast incredible 18th-century statues and make for interesting talks and tours.
An estate packed with Games and leisure activities

With its zoo, events, shows, castle and gardens, this estate has something for everyone ! There is a small train, play area, maze, café end gift shop.
